This includes:
1. A/C train travel from Delhi to Kathgodham and back.
2. Chartered bus from Kathgodam to Bageshwar, further to Munsiyari and back to Kathgodam.
3. Hotel accommodations at Bageshwar before and after the trek.
4. All food expenses, other lodging charges, porter charges for carrying your loads, mules/ponies charges, cooks, guide and equipment charges.
Namik Glacier is situated in Kumaon Himalayas at an attitude of 3,600 m. It is 40 km from Munsiyari and situated at the villages of Gogina and Namik. The glacier is surrounded by peaks like Nanda Devi (7,848 m) -Goddess of Bliss, Nanda Kot (6,861 m), and Trishul (7,120 m).
The glacier falls on ancient Indo-Tibet trade route. There are a number of waterfalls and Natural sulphur springs originating around this glacier. The glacier can be reached by trekking from Bala village on Thal - Munsiyari road near Birthi Fall. It is 129 km from Pithoragarh.
Day 1.
Meet in Delhi Railway station “COMESUM RESTAURANT” at 8.00 p.m. sharp. Train to Kathgodham by Ranikhet Express. Train departure at 10.40 p.m.
Day 2. Kathgodam - Munsiyari (2290 mts/7512 ft) 280 Kms/5-6 hrs
Arrive at Kathgodam by 05:30 hrs and from here drive to Chaukori through the pleasant Kumaon countryside including the Almora Township. Lunch enroute. The quaint Munsyari town with the Rolling Meadows, small town and with spectacular views of the Panch chuli range is considered by many as one of the most beautiful spots in Kumaon Chaukori is famous for its tea garden. Dinner and overnight stay in TRH.
Day 3 . Munsyari - Senar Gad Meadows (7 km trek/3 hrs)
In the morning after breakfast trek up to Senar Gad Meadow. Dinner and overnight stay in tent.
Day 4. Senar Gad - Dhaldauk (11 km trek/5 hrs)
In the morning after breakfast trek to Dhaldauk with pack lunch. This is an easy walk through a rarely trekked route, a popular trail with the shepherds and commands even more picturesque views of the Panch chuli hills. On arrival set out camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5. Dhaldauk - Sudamkhan (7 km trek/3 hrs)
After breakfast trek up to Sudamkhan with pack lunch. The views from here are unforgettable. On arrival set out camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6. Sudamkhan - Hiramani Glacier (9 km trek/4 hrs)
Post breakfast we start our trek with packed lunch for Trek up to the edge of the fantastic environs of Hiramani Glacier. Dinner and Overnight on the margins of the glacier.
Day 7. Hiramani Glacier - Namik Glacier - Sudamkhan (14 kms trek/5 hrs)
Post breakfast we start our trek with packed lunch up to the Namik glacier in the morning with Nanda Kot really close up and return back to Sudamkhan. Dinner and overnight stay at the Camp.
Day 8. Sudamkhan - Namik Village (11 km trek/5 hrs)
Post breakfast we start our trek with packed lunch for Namik village, fairly simple trek down to the Bhotia village. Namik was one of the centers in the region for the Indo-Tibetan trade route. The houses have lots of woodcarvings and traditional structures. We would be staying in one of the village houses for the night followed by Dinner.
Day 9. Namik Village - Gogina (6 km trek/3 hrs)
Post breakfast we start our trek with packed lunch for Gogina; Gogina is in the heart ofRamganga Valley at the foot of Nanda Kot with traditional houses. There is an overhanging glacier opposite the village. At the meadows we are likely to meet shepherds also. A visit to the Kimu village, one of the most beautiful in Himalayas is possible. Dinner and overnight stay at the Camp.
Day 10. Gogina - Liti- (19 km trek/6 hrs)
Post breakfast we start our trek with packed lunch for Liti, This is a fairly simple descent down the Ramganga valley to the road head at Liti. Dinner and Overnight stay at the Camp.
Day 11. Liti - Bageshwar (190 kms/5 hrs)
Post breakfast drive to Bageshwar amidst scennic landscapes to arrive for lunch at Bageshwar. Post lunch its free time in Bageshwar.Dinner and stay at Bageshwar
Day 12. Bageshwar to Kathgodam - Delhi
In the morning drive to Kathgodam and from here take a night train for Delhi. Overnight in Train.
Day 13. Arrive in Delhi morning 6.00 a.m.
